Refunds & cancellation
How deposits, cancellations, and refunds work for AP review engagements.
Scope
These terms apply to paid accounts payable review engagements with Innovate Net (approval review, posting accuracy checks, vendor integrity passes, and booked close-support days). They do not cover third-party products we do not sell.
Deposits
A deposit stated in the engagement note reserves review capacity. Deposits are applied to the final fee. Work does not begin until the deposit clears and intake materials are received as agreed.
Eligibility for refund
Full refund of unused fees is available if Innovate Net cancels the engagement for reasons other than client breach (for example, we cannot staff the booked window). Partial refunds may apply when you cancel early as described below.
Cancellation by the client
- More than 10 business days before the agreed start date: deposit refunded minus a NT$3,000 administration fee.
- 5–10 business days before start: 50% of the deposit retained; remainder refunded.
- Fewer than 5 business days before start, or after intake has begun: deposit non-refundable; work already performed is billed at the day-rate or pro-rated fixed fee.
Rescheduling
One reschedule to a new window within 60 days is allowed without penalty if requested at least 5 business days before start. Further reschedules may incur a NT$5,000 fee or require a new deposit.
No-shows and delayed intake
If your document contact does not provide agreed packets within 5 business days of the intake deadline, we may pause or cancel. Days held for on-site Kaohsiung support that cannot proceed due to missing access may be charged as booked.
Work already started
Completed fieldwork, draft memos, and exception workbooks already produced are payable. Refunds do not apply to completed portions. Unused future close-support days may be refunded if cancelled under the timelines above.
Non-refundable items
- Administration fees stated above
- Third-party travel booked at your written request after approval
- Rush premiums already earned for work delivered inside an agreed accelerated window
Refund process and timing
Email hello@innovatenet.digital with your engagement reference and reason. Approved refunds are processed within 14 business days to the original payment method where possible, or by bank transfer to an account you nominate in writing.
